Job Description

  • Ensure that employees have proper safety training and are aware of hazards in their work environment.
  • Perform inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Inform workers of potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
  • Plan safe working practices and making necessary changes.
  • Keep up to date and ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation.
  • Ensure that equipment is installed correctly/safely.
  • Determine ways of reducing risks.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities.
  • Organize/attend health and safety meetings.
  • Safely handle hazardous substances.
  • Investigate/record incidents, accidents, complaints, and cases of ill health
  • Draw-up safe operational procedures.
  • Consult with management to develop policies and procedures for safety programs.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and providing training on safe work practices to employees.

Requirements and skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in HSE field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong Problem Solving.
  • Strong Risk Management.
  • Strong Planning & analytical skills.
