Now in its fourth year, the EEP Internship Program continues to offer high school students unique, first-hand exposure to real-world work environments. This year marked a milestone as participants from outside the EEP network—students from The British International School, Cairo (BISC)—joined for the first time, underscoring the program’s growing reach and influence.
The program launched with an energizing event at Kamelizer, District 5, where keynote speakers shared insights to help students maximize their internship experience. Over the following week, more than 200 students took part in placements at over 30 partner companies, spanning more than 20 industries. Some of the companies that took part include Ministry of Health and Population Egypt, ALEXBANK, Marakez, Regina Group, Egyptian Space Agency, Talaat Moustafa Group, The Brand Company, Option Travel, Wellspring Egypt, Matouk Bassiouny and Hennawy, Oasis Clinics, Valu, Right to Dream, Selah El Telmeez, and more.
With each edition, the program has attracted increasing interest from leading companies eager to mentor and inspire future changemakers, as well as from schools seeking to provide this immersive opportunity. Its continued growth reflects EEP’s commitment to empowering students through practical, impactful learning experiences.
