Ziad Soliman
Proving his engineering excellence, Ziad Soliman climbed the corporate ladder at Procter and Gamble (P&G). He started as a process engineering intern, moving on to become a technical engineer in 2017. He currently works as a senior project and process manager at P&G.
Ziad graduated from AUC with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Abdelrahman Khaled
Launching Egypt’s first social gaming and board/card games company, Abdelrahman Khaled and Sarah Aboulkheir co-founded “2oolameme” with a goal to bring people together over fun games with Egyptian cultural references. Abdelrahman is the company’s CEO. “2oolameme” was sold 100k+ times and was part of more than 20 corporates’ team bonding experiences, including Nestle, TikTok, and Dell Technologies, just to name a few.
Abdelrahman received a bachelor’s degree in economics from AUC.
Sarah Aboulkheir
Sarah is the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of 2oolameme, the first card/board games company in Egypt, co-founding it with Abdelrahman. Prior to her disruptive work in the gaming industry, Sarah held various positions that helped her gain valuable experience and hone her skills, such as a junior architect in Raef Fahmi Architects and Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator at SkaleUp Ventures.
Sarah graduated from AUC with a bachelor’s in architecture and holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University.
Jude Benhalim
Inspired by Egyptian heritage and her Middle Eastern roots, Jude Benhalim co-founded her iconic jewelry brand named after her when she was just 17 years old. Benhalim’s pieces are handcrafted, recognized for their sophisticated and bold designs. Her pieces were worn by various celebrities such as Chrissy Teigen, Kendall Jenner, and Shay Mitchell, to name a few.
Jude graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with a bachelor’s in film.
Sarah Essam
Sarah’s achievements in football are truly impressive. She was the first professional Egyptian woman to play in the English Premier League. Her record-breaking season with Stoke City included a remarkable 12 goals in 12 matches, earning her the Golden Boot and two “Player of the Match” awards. Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she received the “Arab Woman of the Year: Achievement in Sport” award and represented Egypt’s national team.
Additionally, she excelled at the University of Derby, becoming their top goal scorer for two consecutive years. Her journey continues as a role model for aspiring athletes, appointed as the Official Ambassador for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and an Adidas MENA ambassador.
Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Derby.
Mohamed Sanad
With a passion for handball since he was eight years old, Mohamed Sanad grew up to be one of the sport’s prominent players. His journey started when he played at Heliopolis Sporting Club in the first team and helped the club get promoted to the first division league. He then played for the Zamalek Sporting Club, playing for several African championships and winning various Super Globes. Later, he signed for French club USAM Nîmes Gard.
Mohamed graduated from AUC with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a double minor in business administration and architecture.
Habiba Kelany
Habiba managed to develop a unique set of skills that enabled her to land her dream job in under one year at Longe Black, making an impact in the branding industry. She began her journey as a copywriter, then assumed the position of head of the packaging department, leading to her current position as an operations director.
Habiba received her bachelor’s degree in political science and government from London South Bank University.
Sherif Attia
With a background in engineering and a passion for innovation, Sherif is known for his dedication, creative ideas, and openness to new challenges. Occupying various roles as a research intern and assistant to his current position as an electromechanical engineer at the University of Southampton, Sherif continues to make strides in the computer science field.
Sherif received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Southampton.
Mohamed Khattab
Mohamed has ascended to key roles throughout his career, such as a board member at Cilantro, KOMPASS Education, and Naqla. From shaping business growth to leading digital transformation, his evolution from Business Development to Chief Transformation Officer, and currently serving as EVP of b_labs and Digital Commerce, the transformation and digitization arm of B.TECH, Mohamed continues to leave his mark in the world of technology.
