Egypt Education Platform (EEP) continues its partnership with Safe Egypt through the second cycle of student safeguarding workshops.
Held over two days across EEP schools in East and West Cairo, the workshops brought together high school students from GEMS International School Cairo, GEMS British International School of Madinaty, GEMS British School Al Rehab, Hayah International Academy, Hayah International Academy West, Madinaty Language School (MLS), Madinaty
Integrated Language School (MILS), Westview International Language School, and Scholars International Language School to explore the theme of “Handling Peer Pressure.”
Through guided discussions and interactive activities, participants developed practical strategies to recognize, manage, and respond to peer pressure in real-life contexts. Student leaders will now design and facilitate peer-to-peer sessions within their own schools, ensuring that safeguarding awareness continues to spread through youth-driven advocacy.
This initiative reflects EEP’s commitment to empowering students as active contributors to a safe, respectful, and supportive school environment, embedding safeguarding as a core value across its network.
