Egypt Education Platform (EEP) proudly marked the successful third edition of EEP Con 2025, hosted at Hayah International Academy, bringing together more than 800 teachers and education leaders from across EEP and the Spark Education Platform (SEP) network. This year’s conference explored the theme Human-Centered Education in a World of AI, creating a dynamic environment for educators to engage with emerging ideas, reflect on innovation, and collaborate on the future of learning. Unicaf joined as the event’s main sponsor, offering tailored professional development opportunities for EEP educators.
The day began with opening remarks from David Pontich, Group VP Education, MEA at EEP, and Abeya Fathy, Co-founder and Head of School at Hayah International Academy, setting the tone for a day dedicated to meaningful dialogue and growth. This was followed by a keynote address from Dr. Yasmine Motawy, educator, scholar, and writer at The American University in Cairo, who shared insights on fostering critical thinking in an increasingly digital landscape.
The program featured a series of expert workshops delivered by Amina El Afifi from AUC, along with Dr. Mona Abdel Razek, Dr. Josette Abdalla, and Dr. Nabil Fawzy from Oasis Clinics. Their sessions offered practical strategies and diverse perspectives that enriched the professional development experience for participants.
Throughout the conference, attendees engaged in bilingual panel discussions and hands-on workshops covering essential themes in contemporary education, including student well-being, inclusive learning environments, effective classroom practices, and the continued importance of the human connection in teaching.
By bringing educators together from across its network, EEP Con 2025 reinforced EEP’s commitment to building a community of empowered, collaborative practitioners. This year’s event further strengthened the platform’s dedication to advancing professional excellence and supporting educators as leaders of innovation across all EEP schools.
