Egypt Education Platform (EEP) participated as a sponsor in the first AmCham Egypt Education Conference, held on May 10, 2026, under the theme “Investing in Shaping the Future of Education in Egypt.” The conference brought together key stakeholders from across the education, investment, and policy sectors to explore the future of education in Egypt and the role of sustainable investment in driving its development.
The event convened a diverse group of decision-makers, industry leaders, and experts, creating a platform for dialogue around how education systems can evolve to meet future demands while maintaining quality and long-term impact. Discussions throughout the day focused on the intersection of investment, governance, and innovation in shaping a more resilient and future-ready education ecosystem.
EEP’s Executive Chairman, Ahmed Wahby, also Co-Chair of the AmCham Egypt Education Committee, delivered opening remarks alongside H.E. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education. In his remarks, Wahby highlighted that education in Egypt is at a defining moment, increasingly positioned as a strategic investment sector with a critical role in driving economic competitiveness.
Wahby later participated in Session II, “Scaling Education: Investment, Quality & Sustainable Growth,” alongside Adel Badr, Group CFO, Middle East and Africa at EEP, and a group of industry leaders. The session explored how education systems can scale sustainably while maintaining quality, emphasizing the importance of balancing financial performance with long-term outcomes. As highlighted during the discussion, achieving this balance is essential to ensuring the sustainability of education models and their ability to deliver meaningful impact.
Mohamed Torki, Chief Executive Officer of Selah El Telmeez—one of EEP’s core educational assets—also contributed to the session “Beyond Schools: Investing Across the Education Value Chain,” which explored investment opportunities across the broader education ecosystem and the evolving role of education-related services and solutions.
