Egypt Education Platform (EEP) hosted the 6th edition of the EEP Run at District 5, bringing together students, parents, educators, and partners from across its network in a community-driven event focused on student well-being and safety.
The event saw participation from over 12 EEP schools and preschools, with attendees taking part in 1K, 2.5K, and 5K races, alongside interactive experiences designed for families.
Delivered in partnership with Safe Egypt, this year’s edition aligned with EEP’s safeguarding pillar and broader focus on student well-being. Sara Aziz, Founder of Safe Egypt, highlighted the importance of psychological safety for children, while Ramez Youssef, Founder of Society of Play and Al Zomra, emphasized the role of play in supporting mental well-being.
Al Zomra led a series of gamified experiences that translated the event’s theme into engaging, practical activities for families.
Supported by a strong network of sponsors, partners, and contributors, the EEP Run continues to serve as a flagship annual initiative, reinforcing EEP’s commitment to student well-being, safeguarding, and community engagement.
