December 3-4, 2024

Egypt Education Platform (EEP) proudly celebrated the successful debut of its extension, Spark Education Platform (SEP), at Education Investment Saudi, held on December 3rd and 4th in Riyadh. This pivotal event marked SEP’s entry into the Gulf region, building on EEP’s strong foundation of educational excellence in Egypt.

Ahmed Wahby, Group CEO, Middle East and Africa for SEP and EEP, delivered invaluable insights during a panel discussion titled “Unlocking Return on Investment (ROI) Potential in Education.” Alongside prominent panelists, including Chandra Tiwari, Founder and Chief Financial Officer at AlephYa Education; Hazem Abu Khalaf, CFA, Managing Director at Gulf Capital; and moderator Dr. Pablo Fetter, Board & Executive Committee Member at RAK Academy & American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Wahby explored strategies for maximizing ROI in education.

Drawing on EEP’s proven track record of success in Egypt, Wahby highlighted the platform’s innovative model and its ability to deliver both economic and social returns on educational investment. He also outlined how SEP is extending EEP’s impact across the Gulf region, leveraging its expertise to transform the educational landscape.

SEP’s debut at Education Investment Saudi was further supported by the strong presence of EEP’s senior leadership team, including Adel Badr, Group Chief Financial Officer, Middle East & Africa; David Pontich, Group Vice President Education, Middle East & Africa; Amr Sherif, Group Marketing and Commercial Director, Middle East & Africa; and Ahmed Hammam and Mohamed Khalifa, Managing Directors – Private Equity at EFG Holding.

The event provided a platform to showcase SEP’s ambitious vision, rooted in EEP’s successful model, while emphasizing its commitment to delivering world-class education across the Gulf region. SEP’s recent acquisition of seven international schools in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain underscores this vision and solidifies its position as a key player in the region.

By participating in Education Investment Saudi, SEP not only demonstrated its commitment to innovation and growth but also set the stage for a new chapter of transformative impact across the Gulf. EEP’s influence now extends beyond Egypt, driving positive change and fostering excellence throughout the region.
