Egypt Education Platform (EEP), owned by Egypt Education Fund, a fund managed and backed by EFG Hermes, has signed a strategic joint venture with Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) to establish a flagship private university within Noor City (Noor), East Cairo.
The university will be developed on a dedicated land plot within Noor and will offer high-quality education across multiple faculties, supported by international academic affiliations. It aims to meet the dynamic future jobs market in Egypt and abroad.
Designed as a futuristic campus from the ground up, the university will prioritize applied learning, job-relevant pathways, and a technology-enabled student experience that supports employability and real-world skills.
In parallel, EEP is building a strong set of international academic affiliations with leading global universities to introduce a new generation of undergraduate programmes. These affiliations will support joint programme design, faculty exchange and visiting professors, student mobility opportunities, and learning models that connect coursework to real industry challenges. The focus is practical outcomes, preparing graduates with future-ready skills across high-growth fields such as digital technologies, AI, cybersecurity, digital entrepreneurship, and the creative economy.
EEP’s portfolio includes 23 schools and pre-schools across Egypt serving over 15,000 students, alongside Selah El Telmeez, one of Egypt’s leading education content developers serving 3 to 4 million students annually. The joint venture also builds on the successful K-12 collaboration between EEP and TMG, including five schools in Madinaty and El Rehab currently serving around 9,000 students.
Ahmed Wahby, Executive Chairman of Egypt Education Platform, commented: “This joint venture with Talaat Moustafa Group represents a defining milestone for Egypt Education Platform as we enter the higher education sector. Building on our successful collaboration across K-12 education, this flagship university in Noor City allows us to extend our integrated education ecosystem into tertiary education, supported by international academic partners and world-class infrastructure. We are proud to partner once again with TMG and EFG Hermes to deliver a differentiated, future-focused university that responds to Egypt’s growing demand for premium private higher education and reinforces our long-term growth ambitions.”
