Egypt Education Platform (EEP) recently witnessed the impressive results of its Creativity, Activity, Service, and Team (CAST) Program.
Students from GEMS British School Al Rehab (GEMS TBS) presented their innovative project proposals to Ahmed Wahby, EEP’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Middle East & Africa, at EEP’s head office in District 5. The event was also attended by David Pontich, EEP’s VP Education; Hebba Haroun, EdTech Innovation and Curriculum Advisor at EEP; Rony El Kady, Deputy Director of Education, University Guidance, and Careers Counseling
Manager at EEP; Daniel Centeno, Head of Secondary at GEMS TBS; and Mehtab Mustafa, Career Counselor at GEMS TBS.
The three student groups presented projects under the themes of “Art & Design Reimagined,” “Designing Futures: A GEMS TBS STEAM Initiative,” and “Run for a Cause.” Their proposals included plans for a makerspace to implement innovative edtech tools for elementary students at GEMS TBS, a renovation of the Faculty of Art & Design, and a charity run in collaboration with The British University in Egypt (BUE).
The EEP CAST Program, designed for students in Years 7 to 12, aims to foster creativity, teamwork, and community engagement. Through a variety of experiential learning opportunities, students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership.
EEP is committed to providing students with holistic educational experiences that prepare them for future success. By empowering students to take initiative and pursue their passions, the CAST Program is a reflection of EEP’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
