Students from Madinaty Integrated Language School (MILS) and Madinaty Language School (MLS) came together for the first edition of the National Schools Model United
Nations (MUN), an exciting milestone in student leadership and experiential learning within EEP’s national schools network. Held under the theme “Pioneering a New Era,” the two-day event provided a dynamic platform for students to develop their diplomatic, public speaking, and critical thinking skills.
The conference commenced with an inspiring opening ceremony, where MILS School Principal Mrs. Maha El Khamissy and Head of Secondary Stage Mrs. Faten Massoud welcomed delegates and delivered powerful messages encouraging students to take initiative and lead with confidence. Their words set the tone for a high-energy, student-led event focused on collaboration, global awareness, and civic engagement.
The MUN concluded with a celebratory closing ceremony, during which all participants were awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their efforts. Outstanding delegates in each council were honored with Best Delegate awards.
This first-ever National Schools MUN reflects EEP’s commitment to enriching educational experiences across its national schools. By empowering students through real-world simulations like MUN, EEP continues to cultivate the next generation of thoughtful leaders equipped with the confidence, skills, and global perspective to shape a better future.
