From Vision to Recognition: Advancing French Education at Madinaty Language School

At Madinaty Language School, French education is considered a cornerstone for nurturing globally competent learners. By aligning its curriculum with international standards, the school ensures that students gain both linguistic proficiency and intercultural understanding. The partnership with the French Institute of Egypt (IFE) and the successful achievement of LabelFrancÉducation certification exemplify this dedication.

The initial signage ceremony held in November included Mr. David Sadoulet, Counsellor for Cultural Cooperation and Action of the French Embassy and Director of the IFE; Mrs. Naglaa Salem, Director of the French Institute of Heliopolis and New Cairo; Ms. Sally Hanna, Head of DELF/DALF Examinations; and myself on behalf of the MLS. This recognition following a meticulous process of audit from the part of the institute affirmed the school’s commitment to excellence in French LV2 education and the promotion of Francophone culture.

The partnership offers immersive learning experiences that build confidence, critical thinking, and creativity. Teachers benefit from international collaboration and professional development. Students, nevertheless, benefit from global opportunities and instructional methods that remain innovative and aligned with best practices.

This milestone was celebrated today, 21 January 2026, at a prestigious embassy ceremony alongside with several premium international schools as MLS was awarded the French Quality Shield by his excellency the French Ambassador. The recognition strengthens the school’s position as a model institution, fostering excellence not only in language instruction but also in holistic student development, preparing learners to succeed in global academic and professional contexts.
